Silk Bobbin Vintage offers an eclectic shopping experience in a real bricks and mortar shop - 39 Gold Street, Tiverton, Devon opened in June 26. We offer vintage finds anything from vintage Sylko cotton reels to framed limited edition prints, architects plans of famous buildings to 1970s glassware &mirrors.  Not forgetting our signature vintage industrial bobbins - great display items.

In addition to vintage homeware and haberdashery we also stock textile supplies including recycled sari yarns, creative thread packs, Indian wood printing blocks and decorative leather.  Along with an ever expanding range of general haberdashery - sewing needles, pins, ribbon, knitting needles, etc. Our buttons, beads and sequins are always popular with stitchers

You will also find original wall  art by owner of the shop Karen Veck textile & mixed media artist. Karen works with painted fabric and canvas embellished with hand and machine embroidery together with beads, sequins and sometimes metal strip and washers. Karen also weaves with cotton yarn, leather and recycled sari ribbon.  Karen's woven cushions are available to buy in the shop
